Terms & Conditions

1. COPYRIGHT ACT 1988 - Copyright of all professional photographs belongs to the photographer – Brian Williams of Bri Williams Photography. Any unauthorised copying or reproduction is a criminal offence, and will lead to prosecution. Exceptions to this are the Wedding Packages where a certificate of license will be produced, although Bri Williams Photography will retain the right to use any images for advertising and publicity purposes.

2. Your booking is confirmed by payment of a deposit of £100, together with your details on our booking form. Your booking is accepted on condition that DATES, TIMES, and VENUES remain EXACTLY as indicated on the form. Any changes are only acceptable if first agreed with us, then confirmed in writing, otherwise we reserve the right to cancel your booking. Normal cancellation terms apply- see (5) below.

3. The outstanding balance must be received 14 days prior the event.

4. In the event of insufficient time being allowed - e.g. owing to a late start, or by not following our suggested time allowances - the customer accepts that the quantity and quality of photographs may be jeopardised, although every effort will be made by the photographer, in any event.

5. CANCELLATIONS - In the unlikely event of cancellation, at least six months notice must be given for a full refund of any deposit or money paid. Notice of less than six months but more than four months will result in an amount equal to half your deposit being withheld. Notice of less than four months will result in an amount equal to all your deposit being withheld.

6. The 10% discount is for bookings CONFIRMED six months or more in advance of the event. This discount applies to the cost of the package only and does not include any extras required by the clients.

7. All employees of Bri Williams Photography reserve the right to work free from abuse both physical and verbal. Any infringement on this right will result in immediate cancellation of this contract and loss of all payments.

8. A digital slideshow will be available within 28 days after the event to enable you to select your final prints. Your prints and album will be sent within 28 days of your final selection by registered post.

9. Bri Williams Photography will retain a copy of your digital negatives for up to three years, however we will not be held responsible for the unfortunate loss or damage to these negative.

10. The Guest Studio (Platinum Package Only) is dependent upon a suitable area being available. The photographer will make the decision as to suitability.

11. The client will bear the cost of repair or replacement for damage caused by guests of the clients to any equipment used by any employee of Bri Williams Photography.

12. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that any location fees are paid, i.e. many churches charge a fee to allow photography to be taken within its grounds

13. In the event of unforeseen emergencies such as accident or extreme illness for Bri Williams himself every attempt will be made to ensure a photographer be present. If this occurs, a refund of 25% will be made, of the total value of the agreed package.

14. Digital enhancement and manipulation is carried out at the discretion of Bri Williams Photography, however we will always try to meet any requests.

15. Design of the wedding album is unique for each client and decisions are left to Bri Williams Photography only. Inclusion or exclusion of family members or friends must be discussed at the time of the viewing as no changes can be made once the album is completed. Following the viewing, any discussed favourite photographs will endeavour to be included in the album but as mounts and page design is limited, can not always be included.

16. All prices include VAT @ 17.5% where applicable.
